A permanent parking permit may be requested by members of households declared as residents in the municipality's population register at an address located in a sector of public roads subject to residential parking provisions and who own or possess one or more passenger cars.

Each household will be entitled to 2 ‘FREE’ permits (renewed automatically), each bearing two (2) registration numbers.

The permit is valid only for the passenger car whose registration number, expiry date and sector are shown on it.

All requests must be accompanied by a copy of the vehicle registration card and any other supporting documents. If the home address shown on the vehicle registration document is not yet that of the Roeser municipality, a change of address can be made at the ‘Biergerzenter’ if you bring back the yellow card as well as the vehicle registration document. For a hire/leasing car or a company car, a copy of the (private) leasing or hire contract issued in your name, or an employer's certificate of private use for a company car made available, must be enclosed.

A temporary permit (max. 6 months) may be issued to users of a passenger car made available to them by a professional act as a temporary replacement for a car with a valid sticker and for passenger cars still registered abroad.

The loss or theft of a permit must be reported to the local council as soon as possible.

Termination of one or more of the conditions required to obtain a permit obliges the holder to return the issued permit to the issuing administration without delay.
