Flexibus

What is the Flexibus?

Flexibus logo

Flexibus is a modern public transport concept for short distances. The principle is simple: on request, it picks you up at your home and takes you to the address of your choice in Roeser and the surrounding area.

If you wish, the Flexibus can also take you home.

How does the Flexibus work?

To use the Flexibus, simply dial 8002 20 20, the free number for the Flexibus center. The call center is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The call center is in contact with both customers and the Flexibus. It is here that transport requests are registered and immediately processed. The Flexibus management system determines the route. It may happen that the Flexibus makes a small detour to pick up or drop off other passengers.

Since February 1st 2025, you can also book online 24/24 and 7/7 via the website www.flexibus.lu

How can you use the Flexibus?

Flexibus

Let the head office know your wishes regarding departure and arrival points and times. They are also happy to accommodate special requests, such as regular routes. If possible, we recommend that you call the call center or make the reservation 45 minutes before departure. The Flexibus will then take you to the desired location throughout the municipality of Roeser and its immediate surroundings, as defined in the next section.

Where does the Flexibus run?

The Flexibus operates throughout the Roeser commune (Berchem, Bivange, Crauthem, Kockelscheuer, Livange, Peppange, Roeser).
It also serves the stops Bettembourg-Centre, Bettembourg post office, Shopping-Park Bettembourg (Centre poids lourds Volvo), Centre Médical Hesperange and CK Sportcenter Kockelscheuer.

What are the advantages of Flexibus?

Flexibus transports passengers quickly, free of charge, comfortably, individually, conveniently, safely and flexibly. There are no fixed routes, no precise traffic plans, and no fixed bus stops. That's why Flexibus can pick you up and take you anywhere in the community.

When does the Flexibus run?

Flexibus runs Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. and Saturday from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Who is this service for?

Anyone wishing to travel spontaneously and flexibly within the municipality of Roeser and its immediate surroundings, as defined in the "Where the Flexibus runs" section. Of course, strollers and wheelchairs can also be transported.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Flexibus drivers will refuse to transport any unaccompanied child (under 12).

How to book the Flexibus?

Call our free number or visit the website www.flexibus.lu !

Book as early as possible, no later than 45 minutes before your desired departure time. Your departure time is confirmed when you register. As your journey is combined with those of other passengers, your departure time may be delayed by up to 10 minutes.

Please inform the agent of any train connections or other fixed appointments.

These will be taken into account at the time of booking to ensure you arrive on time.

If you wish to take the Flexibus regularly on the same days at the same times, you can make a lasting reservation and cancel it at your leisure.

Adapto

Transport on demand for people with reduced mobility

Adapto transport is a specialized form of individualized public transport for people with an irreversible disability or a physical, mental, sensory or psychological impairment, when this disability results in severely reduced mobility. The service operates on an order basis. Customers are picked up at the kerb at their point of departure.

A reform of Adapto transport, decided by the government in September 2019 in accordance with the coalition agreement of December 2018, applies from March 2, 2020.  Access conditions have changed slightly, and transport has become free from this date.
