Forest educational trail
The idea for the educational trail arose from the desire to provide modern people with information about the biological diversity of the forest and the relationships between the various elements of nature.
The 4.7 km educational trail was laid out in 2005 by the municipality of Roeser in close collaboration with the Nature and Forestry Administration. By 2021, all the information material has been replaced and new aspects, such as the wildcat and the wolf, have been included or outdated information has been removed.
On 15 educational panels you can discover nature in the forest, close-to-nature forestry and the many secrets of the forest ecosystem.
The forest, with its wide variety of species and biotope structures, promises not only relaxation but also the discovery of an exceptional natural environment.
